LNG business vaue chain is a network of LNG business from gas suppliers to gas buyers, which are connected one another and cannot be separated.


LNG Plant

LNG Plant is a facility which functions as a medium to liquify gas into LNG and is commonly built close to a gas source. This liquefaction process is done as a method to transport gas to reach end-users which are located at a great distance from the gas source.

Before it is liquified, the gas will pass through a gas treatment process, which includes acid gas removal, dehydration, mercaptan removal, and other contaminations.


FSRU Lampung

FSRU Lampung receives LNG from an LNG Carrier through a ship-to-ship configuration for regasification. The FSRU is located approximately close to gas receiving and dividing station Labuhan Maringgai. Its specific coordinates are 5°26'30" S and 150°56'30" E. It is integrated with SSWJ pipeline facility connecting gas sources in Sumatera with the largest potential customers in West Java, Indonesia.

FSRU Lampung is a Floating Storage Regasification Unit moored at a structure called Tower Yoke, the upper part of which is able to spin 360° to ensure that the FSRU stays safe during changes of condition in the surrounding ocean.

Onshore Receiving Facilities

A plant process where LNG which has been regasified in the FSRU is further processed before it is transported to customers. The process in ORF is comprised of several stages: Gas from FSRU gets into the Filter, and then gets heated by Indirect Fired Bath Heater (IFWBH), then passes through a Metering System, and then finally gets its pressure lowered through a Pressure Let Down Valve before it is passed on for distribution process to customers.



Small FSRU is an offshore facility used to store LNG in a small scale and convert it to gas before being transported to end-users through offshore pipelines which are built close to end-users.


LNG Base Receive Terminal

LNG Base is a facility used to store LNG and convert it to gas before it is transported to end-users through gas pipelines. This facility is usually built in a location that is close to end-users.


LNG Bunkering For Marine

LNG Bunkering is a facility used to store LNG which is used to refill the fuel of marine ships.
